Weekly Virtual Office Hours - Leading with the Most Essential Leadership Characteristics, with Kerrie Halmi

Ask 20 leaders and you’ll get 20 answers.  Go to 20 companies and you’ll get 20 answers.  Read 20 books….you get the idea.  It’s overwhelming. In over 25 years of coaching leaders, three characteristics have clearly emerged as the consistently essential ones.  I’ve cross-checked it with experts, research and various company characteristics.  These umbrella terms encompass many other characteristics.  Develop these competencies and you will increase your success. Join Kerrie Halmi to learn how to increase your success through these three leadership characteristics, which include:

  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Communication
  • Strategic Thinking

Here is the good news about these three characteristics: They can be taught and developed over time.  Nobody reaches perfection in any of them. They reinforce each other, for example, the more emotional intelligence you have, the better you will be at communication. And Women tend to naturally be strong in these.  This doesn’t mean they are always recognized as such, but that can change.

Watermark's new Weekly Virtual Office Hours are an opportunity to ask your questions and get immediate answers, solutions and recommendations for the issues that you face. The 30-45-minute session is face-to-face, allowing you and others to connect with the expert thinkers, leaders and solution-driven people you want to meet. Bring a cup of coffee, tea, and a snack during this personal and real conversation.
