Working across different groups can be challenging. When you communicate with a colleague who comes from a different cultural background, or even just a different department – how do you adjust to each other’s styles and learn to work together effectively? How do you avoid being misunderstood or misinterpreted? Communication practices frequently emerge from what feels right, and each individual’s personal experience. These habits have varying degrees of effectiveness, depending on the situation and who you’re working with. How can you consistently communicate well, keeping cultural nuances in mind? This interactive workshop equips global leaders with the skills to adapt to various cultural communication styles and collaborate successfully with others. By understanding the impact of communication styles on your interactions, you can identify another person’s preferred communication style and communicate in a way that moves your relationships forward.
