Kick Some Glass: Jennifer Martineau, the Center for Creative Leadership's Senior Vice President for Research, Evaluation, and Societal Advancement, (co-authored with Portia R. She will share her personal leadership experience as well as how she crafted her vision, overcame obstacles, and/or took her careers to new levels.

Drawing on stories of leaders from both business and social change during a very exclusive Watermark evening, Jennifer will walk through the common steps that all successful movement starters take from creating a clear & compelling vision, to mobilizing people around that vision, navigating criticism, and leveraging the naysayers. About Jennifer Martineau

With more than 25 years of experience in the leadership development field, Jennifer has served leaders, organizations, and communities globally including healthcare, government, military, educational, community leadership, pharmaceuticals, and energy. Through organizational change, impact evaluation, high impact design, delivery of programs, and research, she brings a deep expertise in leadership research and how to apply it in practical, powerful ways for leaders and organizations. Jennifer serves as the lead relationship manager for highly complex organizational leadership solutions and as lead facilitator for several of CCL’s open enrollment programs. In addition to research and working with clients, Jennifer has led the Center’s development of new strategies and practices including evaluation, product development, and innovation.

Jennifer serves as CCL’s Senior Vice President for Research, Evaluation, and Societal Advancement. In this role, she is responsible for the leadership and execution of our world-renowned research, analytics, evaluation, and societal advancement practices. These critical components differentiate CCL from others in the industry and enable us to extend our knowledge and practice of leadership development across the whole of society, including our efforts to advance organizational cultures to be more focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Jennifer also continues to work directly with clients, focusing on women’s and girls’ leadership development as well as transforming organizational capacity for leadership. She has a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University Professional Affiliations and is a member of the American Society for Training and Development, the American Psychological Association, the International Leadership Association, and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She serves on multiple boards and committees locally and nationally.



About Parisa Naseralavi

Parisa Naseralavi is the Senior Director of Finance for the Decision and Capability Transformation organization within Cisco. In her capacity, Parisa leads a team of thought leaders that drive Cisco Finance processes, policies, and decisions improvements through digitization, insights and analytics. By ensuring that business investments align to Finance capabilities and values, Parisa’s team builds consistent, scalable, and comprehensive process and data architecture as well as applies best-practice project and release management principles to accelerate delivery.

During her 16 years at Cisco, Parisa’s exceptional reputation as a thought leader and strategic cross-functional partner has earned her a high degree of confidence among her peers and associates. She has held leadership roles in Customer Advocacy, World Wide Supply Chain Manufacturing and most recently, Customer Service. As Director of Customer Service Global Operations, she led a team of 1,200 customer service professionals and handled more than 1.8 million transactions per year. In addition to delivering innovative, cost-saving measures resulting in a 50 percent reduction of labor costs and the implementation of a highly competitive vendor ecosystem, Parisa was able to drastically increase customer satisfaction through performance management and data-driven decision making. Furthermore, she integrated over 16 acquisitions and developed sound business models to ensure a seamless transition into the company fold. Her recent focus has been in enabling new business strategies across software, recurring revenue and solutions through a combination of process and technology improvements.

As a result of Parisa’s transformational leadership, several of Customer Service’s initiatives implemented to streamline bookings processes and accelerate product delivery were recognized by Cisco’s Business Operation Council for their direct impact on company profitability and performance. In 2011, Parisa received the Six Sigma Champion Award at Cisco for taking her organization to the highest Six Sigma certification. Her organization also received the prestigious Terradata Epic Award for sustainable business practices.

Prior to Cisco, Parisa worked as a Chemical Engineer for the Monsanto Company in San Diego, California. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from South Bank University in London.
