Leadership expert Sally Helgesen has partnered with business guru Marshall Goldsmith on a new book, How Women Rise: Break the 12 Habits Holding You Back From Your Next Raise, Promotion or Job.

How Women Rise will help women identify specific behaviors that keep them from realizing their full potential, no matter what stage they are in their career. It will also help them identify why what worked for them in the past will not necessarily get them where they want to go in the future – and how to finally shed those behaviors so they can advance to the next level, whatever that may be. Sally and Marshall realized that for women in particular, the very skills and habits that make them successful early in their careers can actually be holding them back as they advance to the next stage of their working lives

Women, in particular, struggle with habits like:

  • Reluctance to Claim Your Achievements
  • Overvaluing Expertise
  • Failing to Enlist Allies from Day One
  • Putting Your Job Before Your Career
  • The Disease to Please

How Women Rise will enable women at all stages of their career reach new heights and aid them in their quest to advance and successfully take on new challenges in the workplace, their communities and the world.

Join us for this special evening moderated by Kris Reyes, Journalist for AJ+ and former Global News Anchor, as Sally talks about her research and her invaluable insights for women eager to take the next step in their careers.
