Just in time for Fashion Week: 10,000 Degrees, the San Francisco North Bay’s leading college success nonprofit, is teaming together with Watermark to host an inspiring evening with Maureen Chiquet, former global CEO of Chanel.
Please join us for a fireside chat with 10,000 Degrees President and CEO Kim Mazzuca (left) and Maureen as they explore how to create a life that’s truly your own by learning how to define yourself on your own terms. We'll begin with a complimentary wine reception at 5:30 p.m. before moving into the program.
Maureen has certainly charted her own unique path, and her success is inspiring a new generation of women. In her new book, Beyond the Label: Women, Leadership and Success on Our Own Terms, Maureen describes her unlikely journey from literature major to business leader, and the inklings, risks and (re)defining moments that have shaped her exemplary career.
This event benefits 10,000 Degrees, which helps many move beyond the often limited expectations placed on students from low-income backgrounds to become the first in their families to earn a college degrees – and to become leaders in their own communities, as well.
