Founded in 2012 to close the gender gap in technology, today Girls Who Code (GWC) reaches 10,000 girls in 42 states through after-school clubs and summer programs. Intuit is a frequent host to the GWC summer program, giving high school sophomores and juniors hands-on experience in computing concepts, programming fundamentals, mobile phone development, robotics and web development and design. Intuit employees also serve as mentors, speakers and field trip chaperones. A portion of our conference proceeds will benefit Girls Who Code as part of our mission to support girls' leadership programs and ensure a well-qualified workforce for the future.

Throughout her career as an executive for companies such as Frito Lay, Yahoo! and KidZania, Cammie Dunaway has earned a stellar reputation as a brand-builder with an impressive list of corporate and startup successes.
And then along the way, something happened: she began listening to her heart. Two successful years into a prestigious position as Executive VP of Sales and Marketing of Nintendo, Cammie realized that while this job appeared to be the culmination of all she’d accomplished in her career, it was not truly a good soul-fit.
Hoping to share what she’d learned the hard way, she and her executive coach co-wrote the book, Fit Matters. In it, they address practical, hands-on ways to explore, as she writes, “what could happen for all of us, and for the world, if more people actually LOVED their jobs?”
In addition to putting her reflections and practical tools into this book, Cammie currently advises many companies and serves on the board of directors for Red Robin, Nordstrom FSB and Go Health. She’s been featured and quoted in publications such as The New Yorker, USA Today and Forbes, and is a frequent speaker at organizations such as Stanford, Levi Strauss, General Mills and LinkedIn.

Bindu Garapaty is the Marketing Talent and Leadership Development manager for Juniper Networks and the CEO of The Happy Leader. As a true believer in the human potential, Bindu has found the intersection of happiness, human behavior and leadership. She drives the New College Grad and senior leadership development program for Marketing at Juniper Networks. And with a doctorate degree in clinical psychology and an entrepreneurial spirit, she is the co-founder and CEO of The Happy Leader, LLC. She infuses evidence-based practices and lessons learned from her leadership roles in health care, corporate and academia to empower leaders to find their intersection of happiness, meaning and impact.
Bindu is a Watermark member, serves on the Emerging Executive Advisory Committee and is co-lead of the South Bay Women Like Us Network. She was honored last fall with the Emerging Executive of the Year award at Watermark's Make Your Mark Awards.

Lauren Goode has been covering the consumer technology industry for nearly a decade, interviewing some of the biggest names in tech. She is currently a senior technology editor at The Verge, host of the new Verge video series "Next Level" and co-hosts “Too Embarrassed to Ask” on Recode Radio with Kara Swisher. Prior to The Verge, Lauren was managing editor of consumer tech coverage at Recode and was a senior tech reviewer at AllThingsD. Before that, she worked as a multimedia producer and reporter at the Wall Street Journal Digital Network, where she helped launch its live-streaming video programming and produced and co-hosted the "Digits" technology show. She started her career in media working from the ground up in cable television.
Gladys Kong, CEO of UberMedia, is an award-winning expert in mobile technology and data solutions. Since joining UberMedia in 2012 as CTO, Gladys has been responsible for assembling a best-in-class data science team. She’s overseen UberMedia’s pivot from a social media app developer to a leading mobile location data and technology company.
An entrepreneur and founder of multiple tech companies, Gladys holds numerous patents in the mobile technology space. In 2016 and 2015, Business Insider named Gladys one of its “30 Most Powerful Women in Mobile Advertising.” In 2016, Mobile Marketer named her one of the 25 “Mobile Women to Watch.”
Under her leadership, UberMedia has been ranked #16 in The Wall Street Journal’s Top 50 Startups, listed as one of Fast Company’s “50 Most Innovative Companies,” one of the OnMedia Top 100 Private Companies and one of the “Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America” by Entrepreneur Magazine.
Gladys earned her B.S. degree in engineering and applied science from California Institute of Technology and an M.S. degree in computer science from UCLA. She currently sits on the board of directors for Innovate Pasadena, an organization promoting technology and entrepreneurship.

Liz Lawlor is a Human Resources program manager for Intuit, leading the company through changes in how best to assess and grow talent. She is a graduate of Intuit's highly selective HR Rotational Program, where she gained a unique perspective in the changing needs of the technology workforce and helped drive one of the most significant change initiatives for Intuit HR in recent memory.
Liz earned her business administration degree, with an emphasis in management and operations, from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.
Charmaine McClarie is a senior executive coach who helps leaders have their best year ever. She has worked with leaders in 27 industries across five continents. Her clients include top executives from Coca-Cola, DuPont, Humana, Johnson & Johnson, Starbucks and T-Mobile.
During her 20+ years as an executive coach, 98% of Charmaine’s clients have been promoted within 18 months – whether that means going from SVP to EVP, growing from regional to global leadership or becoming corporate director.
Charmaine serves on the EMBA program faculty at the University of Missouri Kansas City Bloch School of Management and is a visiting lecturer at the Smith College Executive Education program.

Denise Thomas is Manager of Government Contracts and Pricing at Gilead Sciences, a biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops and commercializes innovative medicines in areas of unmet medical need. She has over 10 years of pricing experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. In her current role, Denise is responsible for managing, analyzing and assisting in the submission of Federal, Medicaid and 340B drug pricing programs. She also provides strategic input, financial and operational assessments of legislative and regulatory changes.
In addition, Denise serves as a co-lead on Gilead’s Leadership Organization of Black Employees Strategic Partnership pillar, an employee resource group designed to foster a sense of belonging and inclusion that can spark innovation, accelerate employee development and make a difference inside and outside Gilead.
Denise earned her degree in economics and finance from Southern Illinois University–Edwardsville.
