Successful women leaders often drive great results and are very successful at what they do. Pausing, or intentionally shifting your behavior, can lead to feeling even more engaged and satisfied along the way.

Rachael O'Meara will share her story of how she discovered the power of pause, and how anyone can adopt the powers of pause to lead a more engaged and meaningful life. Rachael will walk us through how to:

• Recognize the 5 Signs of needing to pause
• Understand the types of pauses you can have and start using immediately
• Honor the power of yearnings and take action to fulfill them
• Use the right tools to start pausing today regardless of your money, time frame or activity
• Create your personal pause plan that can lead to a more satisfied, engaged way of living that you can implement today

Why does this matter?
According to a survey by the nonprofit Families and Work Institute last year, more than half of American employees “feel overworked or overwhelmed at least some of the time” and “70 percent say they often dream of having a different job.” This was Rachael's situation when she burned out of Google in 2011 and decided to take a three-month unpaid break. What she learned from pausing was life-changing. "I want to help others avoid this rut and learn how to be more self-aware by learning how to pause," Rachael says. "Pausing is for everyone, and when we shift how we operate in the world we go from autopilot to conscious and intentional thinking. We can learn how to tune in and align with what works for us, so we are ultimately living with more meaning and live happier, more satisfied lives no matter how busy we get."

About Rachael
Rachael O’Meara is an author and a transformational leadership and executive coach. She is a sales executive at Google and hosts authors who have meaningful messages about mindfulness and emotional intelligence for the TalksAtGoogle YouTube channel. She has written for the New York Times and The Huffington Post and leads workshops and talks on the practice of pausing. She is certified in Transformational Coaching from the Wright Graduate University for the Realization of Human Potential (ICF certified), and has an MBA from Fordham University.
